The President of the University of Nigeria (Nsuka) and his delegation visited our school

  On April 25, Prof. Charles Arizechukwu Igwe, President of the University of Nigeria (Nsuka Campus), and Prof. Nwabu Anene Moneke, Director of the Center for Environmental Management and Control and Director of the China Cooperation Program of the University of Nigeria (Nsuka Campus), visited our school.

Firstly, our school held a meeting with a delegation from the University of Nigeria. Professor Du Daolin, the dean, delivered a welcoming speech. President Charles Arizechukwu Igwe and Director Nwabu Anene Moneke respectively introduced the University of Nigeria and the Environmental Management and Control Center of the University of Nigeria. Professor Yong Yangchun, the dean of the Biofuels Institute, provided a detailed introduction to the school's development from disciplines, scientific research, international cooperation and exchanges. Both sides further discussed topics such as the construction of international joint laboratories, the organization of international conferences, teacher/student exchanges, and research project cooperation.

Subsequently, Dean Du Daolin accompanied the delegation to visit the Analysis and Testing Center of university and Biofuels Institute. Principal Charles Arizechukwu Igwe expressed appreciation for the rapid development and achievements of our school in recent years.







Previously, our school had established a broad and close cooperative relationship with the Environmental Management and Control Center of the University of Nigeria. Currently, the school has 10 Nigerian international students, including 5 Nigerian university teachers (teacher training programs). In 2022, the two sides jointly held the first CLIMATE CHANGE IN COVID-19 ERA International Academic Conference and signed an cooperation agreement. On April 24th, Charles Arizechukwu Igwe and Yan Xiaohong signed an agreement to establish an international joint laboratory called "China Nigeria Joint Laboratory on Pollution Control and Resource Recycling".

This visit is a high recognition of the achievements of the internationalization strategy of our school in recent years, and is of great significance to promoting wider international exchanges and cooperation.
